What I said in my previous post (and shall reiterate) is that you have simply stated the obvious about how the Red Lanterns function and asserted that they win without making any comparisons. You have asserted that napalm blood + consciousness derived from the ring make the red lanterns superior but you haven't made any valid point WHY. I bolded the part of your response because the rest is more FYIs that I'm already aware of (I've read just about every issue of every GL comic for the past 7-8 years now). It depends on who is leading the yellow because if there organised under Sinestro or Mongul they won't lose against the mindless suicidal said: red winsĪll but about 3 are incapable of creating constructs and the ring itself is a negative influence unlike the helpful computer like nature of the others.

But if it's a random 1 v 1, definitely the said: If it's the whole corps, the Red Lanterns may still win, simply by outnumbering and overpowering the SC, and Atrocitus is a huge bonus in that regard. And can someone clarify - the OP is confusing but the second half combined w/ the thread title makes me believe this is a 1 v 1 - a random member of each corps. I haven't really heard an argument in favor of the Red Lanterns that answers that.
Red Lanterns are just blind rage Sinestro Corpsmen can think tactically, move quickly, and use advanced constructs. If the yellow corps are organized and employ tactics they take this easily because the red lanterns are simply incapable of doing the same, if it's just an all out bash the red lanterns take this easily.įair, however I think your own argument speaks for itself in regards to a fight, and the other point that I made - intelligence is big here. The red Lantern breath stuff cuts hard light constructs like butter, they need to dodge it. However, average Yellow beats average Red, IMO. In that case, I don't think a single Sinestro Corpsman (not counting Ranx) would be able to win (against Atrocitus, at least.
The only exception would be if it was a higher up such as Atrocitus, Bleez, or Vice. I would think a Sinestro Corpsman would be able to shield themselves from the napalm blood, at least for some duration, and could easily create enough offensive constructs to overwhelm and kill the red lantern. Hard light constructs + cognition > napalm + blind anger.
